the 60ft time is slow. shoot for 2.2 drop your tire pressure to 18 or so.
or put the slicks on run 1.9 and a 13 for sure. good luck

Yea, I sometimes get 2.2...but @ sears...the car seems to roll while staged. So I ebrake it and still need to get used to it.

YOU AND THOSE SLICKS TREVER!!!! HAHAHA. Trust me man, the clutch right now is not gonna hold. I'm coming back to socal next week...I'll be in soon for a clutchmasters clutch or something. See u soon.

yeah I had the same problem at sears point. My car would roll when I was staged and give me a red light, so I had to also use the E brake.

Hopefully I'll be able to do that with new tires. Gonna go with Rotas (since they're cheap and fairly light) and Azenis. Then again...there's the clutch too...

As long as you make sure that the car is at a full and complete stop whil you are staging you will not have this problem...I've always moved to where I was planning on staging, pulled the e-brake for ~1-2 seconds, all depending if the starting lights had already started.

And if you replace those tires you whould have a low 14 second car/high 13 second car....you need traction.

Austin - most recently my best was a 13.8 with a high 2.1/low 2.2 60ft with a burnt clutch(need to find the slip)

Hope so. Do you think going with the Azenis is a wise choice?

the 60fts do suck but it makes me wonder about his trap speed. the trap is ultra slow. i know its a GSR motor but the trap is slow. u need upper 90MPH to hit 13s and u just dont have it.

what are you trying to say?
you said he needs to hit upper 90's to hit the high 13 low 14 range.
I'm saying 96.99 is high 90's or does high 90's start at 97.00?

I've been using my e-brake for so long at Sears (since 1994), that I don't remem which lane would make me roll. But I'm pretty sure it's the right lane.
