i ordered an apexi style ebay turbo timer and installed everything exactly as it was supposed to be on my 00 civic. i wired the red on the TT to the White on the ignition. The Blue on the TT to the yellow on the ignition. and the Green on the TT to the black/yellow.
All the different features on the turbo timer work but the tt does not countdown when the key is first turned foward all the way and it does not countdown and keep the car running. any advice???

 

so if you set a time and turn the car off the unit just turns off or what?

i checked and i'm pretty damn sure you have it wired correctly so i don't think thats the problem.

 

Maybe its just bad because you bought it off ebay.

 

its possible. but a turbo timer is a fairly simple electronic device technically speaking. i know people who've had a lot of luck with cheapo timers. why spend a bunch of money on something so simple.

There's nothing wrong with buying stuff on ebay, I'm just saying maybe it's a faulty item. It sounds like everything is set up correctly.

 

it wont let me change the time intervals at all like it should?? everything functions fine except the actual "timing" part
