Default midori slight oxidizing. possivle temp fix?

Ok so the driver door on the midori hatch i just bought is starting to oxidize or the cleat coming up. Is it possible to maybe sand all the clear off in the affected area. And apply a clear as a temp fix? Or possibly anythifng else to just temp fix it so i don't have to paint the whole car yet

just let it go until you're ready to paint your car unless you feel like getting just the door painted. it sucks looking at it, but there is no possible way to fix that without sanding it out or maybe even paint stripping the panel. what that is is not 'oxidation', it's delaminated clear. the clearcoat has failed and is peeling away from the basecoat. i'm a big fan of stripping panels once they've delam'ed because if the clear has failed on a few spots, you know it's on its way out on the rest of the panel too.

Bleh, the same thing is happening to my Integra. I couldn't really do anything about it, just watch slowly as my paint eats itself. =(

I feel yea. my whole roof is WHITE it makes me cry every day but I'm just gonna buy color matched paint in spray can and redue it.

I have small spots that are turning white too so I'm going to try and sand it down and throw clear on it.

You might as well try it..I mean what's the worse that could happen ya know?

Be careful sanding down your paint. I went too far and now I have primer showing through in one spot. Wish I never did it.
