Default slipping into 3rd

i have a 92 accord 4 dr auto, its got a f22a. the problem is on the upshift from 2nd to 3rd with anymore than 1/4 throttle it will want to slip a little during the shift and rev up. i was wondering if its losing 3rd or if maybe the solenoids getting lazy. the car has 267k miles on it

i respectfully disagree, i changed the fluid, cleaned up the solenoids and adjusted the cable to the tb and now it shifts fine, execpt now OD goes in and out but i can deal with that

new clutch and/or flywheel, when the clutch wears out it no longer has the padding to make the contact with the flywheel, and/or flywheels metal surface could be worn out thus not having the metal thickness to make contact with the padding. with 267k theres a high chance it could be this issue.

Actually there is no chance that it is this issue. Seeing as automatic transmissions do not have a clutch or flywheel.

They do not have a clutch, they have clutches, but no flywheel.
