Power Window motor engages, but Window doesn't move

Power Window motor engages, but Window doesn't move
Today I rolled my windows down, and now it doesn't roll up. The motor engages on both the close and open positions, but the window doesn't move. I didn't have time to diagnose it, so I pulled the window shut with my hands. Could I have a bad power window motor?

Could be bad motor or the teeth on the regulator assembly could be chewed up. I had the latter happen to me.
