I have a 98 integra gsr with the factory super sonic blue pearl paint job. At first I liked it but like many ssbp owners I started to hate it because it looked too purple and not blue. Well I decided to get my car painted, so I took it to Roland and Sons in Ontario, California. I have posted below pictures of the car before and durning the paint job. as soon as I get the car back I will post pics of it completed. Based on the work that they have done for me I would recommend this shop to anyone that is in so cal.

What do you guys think. let me know if you like it or hate it, it wont hurt my feelings lol

i like it i just dont like the CF Type R wing....I like it when its all one color but i do like the CF front lip tho

 

that color and red rim's bring back 2000.AWW the good ol year's.

 

the difference is negligible and will only be noticed to the trained eye, no offense. work looks quality. if you're happy with it, that's all that matters. ;]

yeah i do like it plus its not that purple anymore. The wing, sides and front lip are painted as well. the color deference is slight but it looks better in person. Also the rotas are going off and i am doing a five lug with mf10s

dc2 dude if you ever see the ssbp in person it is purple not blue.

 

Ill buy the rota's pm if you want.

 

my buddy just got his eg hatch done in SSBP its to purple for me....i like the color but just a little to purple for me sometimes.

The SSBP is one of the best colors ever offered on the GSR, behind the DVP, which is my all time favorite. IMO, you made a big mistake, and just lost a ton of value by getting rid of that color.

 

Well I just didn't like how the purple looked.

 

its your car man do what you like to it...you dont have to please us you need to please yourself

the purple in it is what makes it great, but it is ur car. do wat u please..

 

The paint job was around 1500.00 becuase I had him shave the side moldings, paint the side skirts and rear wing.

 

Appears to be good job for the $ - Colors were close enough that they didn't need to do the jams etc? Would backing out the shaving make much diifference?

wow thats really cheap. i had my old mk3 gti paitned (in washington) and it cost me more than 4k. it was flawless, but yours looks to be also. i like it

 

I didn't get the door jams or under the hood done because then it would have been alot. When I looked at the car and opened the door I couldent even tell. I think it was a little more because of shaving side moldings. Or else the paint job would have been 1200 ish

My car is the voltage blue metallic 00. Looks somewhat similar. And i got raped by MOB works for 3800.
