Default type r turbo

Will my ITR blow up with a turbo kit on stock block? peakboost kit prolly around 7-8 psi is it going to blow up? thanks lol

try 10 psi, should still be good on a B, just need a good tune

Not it will not blow unless you have the following done.

*A healthy engine

*Installed and tuned correctly (it's all in the tune)

*Good maintenance (service regularly with good products)

look after your engine and it will look after you.

B18C5 w/ 20,000km's on it, peakboost turbo kit w/ gt30, 750cc RC's, s300, my old setup blew up and i didnt know exactly why since i bought the car and it had issues coulda been that or since it was at 8psi. i dont kno.. but if it doesnt work out this time, well good thing ive been saving for a new m3 !

back to your question it is ALL in the TUNE. get the correct EMS and safegaurds put into place and call it a day

i have a stock gsr with 88K (boosted at 81) with a gt35r that makes 358 @ 7-8 psi. dont plan on cranking it any more either lol

i have somewhat of an idea, but the guy i bought the car from in my profile pic said its your lucky day (he won the lottery) so i bought the car for $1 from him and the turbo kit was ****ed so i decided ill rebuild it and put a new motor in.. i kno some but im not a hondatech nerd like you are and have a life that i dont consume hours on the internet talking and researching cars. thanks others for advice tho

Why boost one of the best N/A motors of all time?
Boost a GSR, leave the C5's N/A. They are hard enough to get as is.

its ALRIGHT!! he only had a single cam TURBO!! i would be pretty sad if it was a b-series..haha.. not saying that single cam are slow or bad..just saying that you can get a d-series build for half the $$$ of a B!!! thats why its OK

I lol'd when I saw this thread pop back up. It would definitly appear that the flywheel blew appart. It looks to be missing when they show the trans partly seperated from the engine.
