valve cover bolts question.....

Default valve cover bolts question.....


does anyone know if there is a nut on the base of the valve cover bolt's (the 4 bolts the crown nuts hold to), cause i broke one of those bolts at the top, and need
i need to get one of the 4 valve cover bolts out, cause it broke at the top when i overtightened the crown nut, and was wondering if anyone knows a way i can take the bolt out myself, ........but, mainly, i was wanting to know if there is a nut at the bottom (base) of the bolt that i can just unscrew or not?, thanks

its a 10 or 12 mm stud,take off the valve cover and use a closed end wrench.

no bolt... you can get a tool to tap it out. there were 4 valvecover studs broke off in my head when I got it. Tapped em all out

they're just studs. 10mm or 12mm deep socket will do the trick. (can't remember size)
