I first off have NO IDEA how this is happening but it happend in the drive thru line today. I was pulling up to get my Mcdonalds and put my foot on my brake and teh E-brake light came on. I was like ummm ok took my foot off light goes out foot on brake light comes on.
my e-brake was DOWN so dont tell me it was up lol. Nothing seems to be wrong i pulled my wheel looked at the cable to see if it was stuck (it wasnt) put it all back together and then i went for a ride it did it again so i pulled the brake and dropped it and then it stoped.
Anyone got a idea lol. it seems fine E-brake still engages when i pull the handle and isnt engaged when the handle is dropped

Remove the brake fluid reservoir cap and test the low brake fluid "switch", move the float up and down on it's shaft, making sure hand brake light only comes on when float is at bottom of shaft.
Pull the console and check the hand brake switch, make sure it will not "turn on" unless hand brake is at least at first ratchet. 94
