2005 Pilot AC blows warm air
2005 Pilot with ~ 115K miles
AC initially began intermittently began blowing warm humid air for a couple of minutes then it would begin to blow cold air again. This lasted for 2 days. Now it will not blow cold air. There is no power getting to the compressor but the two fans under the hood operate when the A/C is turned on. The rear climate control system is doing the same thing as the front.
To date the following has been done:
All fuses/relays have been checked and none are blown/defective. Freon has been drained (had 1.48# which was slightly low.....should have ~ 1.52#) and the system was recharged with 1.62#. The low pressure "cut-off" switch was "by-passed" with a paperclip to see if this switch was defective. The compressor did not power on when this was done. We made sure it was not blowing hot air in A/C setting and cold air in the Heat setting. All fan speeds have been checked and none of them blow cold air, only warm air. Attempted to retrieve DTC by turning key to the on setting, pressing auto, holding then pressing off for 60 seconds. No code was given.
Please provide any feedback you can. I am not a lifelong mechanic but have enough mechanical knowledge I like to figure things out without having to pay a fortune at the dealership.

Howdy!
Same thing just happened to us. We have 2005 Pilot EX-L with 85K miles on it. Yesterday we tried to turn on the AC (we are currently in Sonora, Mexico) and nothing happened. Nothing kicked in, turned on or anything (AC wise). I checked all the fuses. What does the resistor box look like? Is it something that can be DIY or done at the Stealer, I mean dealer? Thanks!!
