What does the spec sheet say? Usually the Maxxsonics stuff has ported and sealed enclosure specs. Just build the box to the specs listed.

Maxxsonics stuff is fine for a budget build (Crunch, Autotek, Hifonics). Look up pricing on Amazon.

I have no clue what the spec sheet says. How much would it cost to build a box myself? I'm not really familiar with cutting, etc

a sheet of 3/4" mdf is around $30, then you need screws and good wood glue, so maybe $50-$60 to build a box yourself.

with a rms of 300 watts and a peak of 600 watts, i'd look for an amp that makes 600-800 watts at either 1 ohm or 4 ohm.
