yo my peeps I just got a 07 si, and was looking at the block and head model(k20z3)....but have a question is it possible to switch a (z3) head and put a (z1) head to replace that....what are the positives and negative.....

 

im sure you can swap the heads.. but if ur gunna swap anything ur best bet is to swap the block out and get a k24 block. no point to swap heads they are pretty much same thing.. its really up to u but if i was u i wud go frankenstien

 

yea the z3 head i remember is more free flowing which can make it the best head. all you need is a k24 block paired with the lsd :D

 

all K-series parts are interchangeable just like all b-series.
Not sure if there would be a big increase. I would go with a k24 head and z3 bottom end
