Default Driver side LCA spindle spins when trying to tighten the crown nut

I am finishing an install after putting my new struts and cv axle on the driver side then I get to the LCA spindle nut, I try tightening it but the spindle just spins. I thought it was maybe some dirt/grime on the thread so I used a wire brush and cleaned it off. Still no luck, night fall just hit and I can't see a damn thing outside so I decided to put my wheel on and drop the car. I just need some clarification, the spindle needs to lock in place on the LCA in order for the spindle to stop spinning correct? I'm hoping by me lowering the car, the weight will lock in the spindle, i am letting it sit over night and finishing it tomorrow. If it still spins what should I do?

And for any confusion it's the lower ball joint spindle that attaches to the suspension arm it's the ball join behind the hub. (I thought it was a LCA but maybe i'm wrong)
