Whats kinda honda is this
Found out it looks like a 4th gen prelude. But im not sure on the engine. Someone once told me they had it shipped from japan. The reason why im asking is hes wooping everyone and im wanting to build a dirt track car and want to keep up.lol. Or is there something that can beat it?

i know a few people around here that use 5th Gen's for dirt trackers....

Kinda weird you didn't know what honda but u posted in the prelude section when its a 4th gen prelude lol. YES its either an h22 or an h23, you cant tell from the picture but its def an h-series. it looks like the thing is bone stock and gutted.. doesnt even look like it has aftermarket exaust.

ha ya its a 4th gen forsure...and the engine im guessing is a jdm H22 made to look like the H22A1...i know this because a close friend of mine is doing this and he is kickin *** at the track to. im sure if he is doing as good as you say then he is doing the same thing my friend is doing....that would be swapping the exhaust manifold (which is easy to hide with the manifold guard). running a chipped ecu, has alot of head work done to it. and added a 1 at the end of the JDM H22A so it reads H22A1. this will throw off anyone inspecting the engine. this setup was pushin like 20+ WHP for my friend ahead of the competition. im sure thats close to what this guy is doing
Weve thought bout it before. But the track is so small.
Im going to build one of these 4 cyl for next year. What kinda car would you guys rec. If prelude what model and year for the best handling? Prelude SH?
singlecamslamed What cars do the K20A-R come in or is it just japan?

the car i posted above is completely stock other than the XXX point roll bar lol with a JDM f22 motor. Pulls on an h22 prelude down the back straight.
your talking dirt, not street. Completely different application. Its not necessarily power that gets you around the track the fastest. Turbo and supercharged is going to put you into the wall on a dirt track trying to exit the corner unless they allow you to run "dirt" tires in the class you are preparing for. Its the fastest lines, exit speeds and the ***** of the driver that gets the best times.
i suggest finding what class that car is running is and build your car based on that set of rules.

yes, i realize a lot of people break the rules, but they also break rules that are not easily seen.
like porting heads, porting intake manifolds..etc. Slap a turbo/supercharger on there and tech will definitely see that.
