On the firewall the upper heater core hose is leaking, what heater hose do I buy? The DA one is much to short/small, do I buy the one made for a DC? Any input appreciated, loosing a lot of coolant.

^^^ okay i made no sense. if the dc heater hose fits around the inlet and outlet ports but its too long, then cut one of the edges so the hose has no major bends in it

 

Problem is I don't know if the DC hose fits either.

 

wherever u buy it from just ask them u wanna take it outside to ur car to eyeball it

 

Who knows which heater hose is the INLET hose on a 2000 Accord V6 engine?

Why not just pick up some bulk heater hose of the correct inside diameter and cut it to length.94

 

Thank you - next question: is the off-the-shelf DIY coolant flush procedure a good idea? Is the t-valve which comes with the kit (and presumably meant to become a permanent addition to the hose, at least until the hose is replaced) going to become a leaky problem?
