So my DA is seeming not to charge, I hope its not a bad alternator because i would hate to buy an alternator for only a few days. So the battery sitting has about 12.18v off, then when the car is running its has 11.8. So i think this means its not charging. I checked all the fuses we are good. So is it just a bad alternator.

Also the battery light comes when the rpms drop at or below 1k above 1k the light turns off. Could it be that the alternator belt is slipping then when on throttle it is grabbing?

Any help is appreciated

 

Also do you think it will make a 100 mile trip with a bad alternator on just the battery? Cuz tomorrow i am dropping it off at a shop.

 

I would check the alternator brushes first. Alternators aren't known to go out in Hondas but it does happen. The brushes usually do the trick!
