Adjusting nut is seized and stipped
Hi,thanks for reading, any help would be appreciated.
Here's my problem,90 accord motor f22a4,at,bought 3 months ago, won't start when hot.change the relay, not the problem, change distributor assy and checked fuel pressure is ok,tried to time it with timing light,no adjustment at all,(advance or retard)so look at the timing belt, she's new from honda, don't know who did it,anyway, the adjusting nut on the timing balancer belt adjuster is seized and stripped, what's the best way to unseize that nut, could that be the source of my problem,(did not try another ecu)forgot to tell that the idle speed adjuster has been advance an inch, only 169 000 kms on it.

I doubt the nut is the issue for the no start. Will be an issue when the t-belt needs to be changed. When you checked the timing was the service connector jumped?
Do you know what is missing when hot and it won't start,,,,spark, fuel,,? Yes you replaced the dist but that can't be ruled out until all tests are done. Search for the site below and start with that.

that service connector,i've look for it on the passenger side behind kickplate and console no luck unless someplace else i'll recheck and try to jump it
when hot spark is orange, fuel is there, almost want to start wait 20 mjn starts again
i've check the coil resistance is good , tdc/cyl/ crank sensor was change(resistance was not in spec, did not check relay, ecu to igniter yet
I'll run those test will let you know
thanks

Sometimes the connector gets "pushed" behind the glove box. The first time I had to get to the one on the 95 I have to actually remove the glove box to find it. When you checked the coil was it while you were having the issue (hot)?
While engine is hot
1-black/yellow + ground = 11.94 v
2-white/blue + ground = 32 v
3-coil a+b=1.8
a+sec=17.72
says in the book by removing fuse 7.5amp is the same as service connector jumped

Also, what is the rpm at idle while you are checking the timing "forgot to tell that the idle speed adjuster has been advance an inch". That could be the source of you not being able to adjust the timing.
Personally I'd take one issue at a time, start with the no start when hot.....you can work on the others later, if they are still around after soving that.

so, you think it's the igniter, any ways to check it.
When i 've checked the wires,i took out the igniter and it was very hot.Is it suppose to get that hot that fast.
When it idles ,it runs rough at 800.
