1998 Accord LE 2.3 Liter In Line 4 Cyl.

I have leak in the gasket which I understand ***might*** throw a P0420 Bank 1 code. Should I tighten the bolts near the leak , reset the PCM and see what happens or altogether replace the gasket? If the latter option, what is the torque on the eight manifold bolts. Chilton does not say...

Tighten them starting from the middle and work your way out. All Data software says 23 ft lbs. I would check the surface of the exhaust manifold and the mating surface on the head using a precision straight edge in case the manifold is warp.
