Recently my 95 accord CEL comes on. When I shut the car off and turn it back on it the cel light goes off. What I have noticed is that when this light comes on the car acts different. When I give it gas the rpms dont respond to the speed. They go up but the car doesnt pick up the speed. Almost like its slipping?? At first I thought it could be the clutch. But I guess it may not be.
Any help ??

 

Get the codes from the CEL, search for the exact loaction-my 95 EX 4 cyl, the connector is "under/behind" the glove box. Two wire blue connector. Jump it, key in on (II) pos, not running, count flashes....again there are write ups with more detail and what the flashes mean. That is the only place to start.
