The car will run great for a week or 2 and then one day it wont start. Then a few hrs later it starts. It has even shut off while driving down the freeway a couple times. But then wait a few minutes and it starts right back up again. I`m guessing its the fuel pump but I`m not sure. I am getting spark when this happens though. Any ideas?

Have you tested/inspected the main realy?

Sorry, some sites don't like active links, so to be safe I try not to include them...but google is our friend. There are some other testing procedures for the ICM and or the ign switch which might also be the issue...have spark when this happens so I don't think it is the icm.

 

Sounds like a Main Relay or an ignition cyl problem.
