Default About to install Toda header

I was just curious as to what people have used after installation to wipe down the header. I am very scared of leaving any type of residue after the installation. I really hope it comes out flawless. Thanx in advance

Make sure you use gloves to install the header.
Once that is done, with the car jacked, spray it down with brake cleaner.
Use the microfiber towels to wipe it off and it will remove any fingerprints.

Just make sure you DONT start the car up after installation. If you do not use gloves, the oil from your fingers will get on the header, and the intense heat will make those fingerprints even worse and harder to remove.

thats my advice to you.

Keep it clean and oil free. It's the oils (finger or motor) that screws it up.

Looks like a clean engine bay, can't wait to see the header installed. Does toda require you to delete the cat like the hytech

Got it on yesterday. Wiped it down like a million times an still got residual streaks that showed up today : (

The weird thing about is i popped the hood this morning an it looked fine. Then i went somewhere an decided to check it again an there they were. I hope there's a way to get the streaks off.

Super clean header... I never got a real race header. Curious to hear if it's worth it or not

depends on your goals. the OP is an artist in the same way a comic book collector loves the mint #1 of his series, no one spends $200 on wires for any other reason than comic book collecting or bragging rights

if you're just after hp there are cheaper ways to go about it.
