Default Funking *** Idle

OK....during the day of regular driving (redlining, vtecing and all) my idle sits at 750 rpms like it should. At night when it gets dark it sits at 1000 sometime 1100. I dont get this.

Will it drop to normal if you turn the lights off? Is there a drastic temperature difference between day and night?

It sits at 1000 with the lights off. the temp is not that majpr like 10-20 degrees. But even if its the day time and 40 degrees colder than therse nights it astill sits at 750.

At night when I come home or turn off the car, I let it sit for like 5-10 secsa nd the idle will drop down to 750 with everything off. then i shut it off.

If it were an aftermarket cam, it would idle at 1000rpm consistantly.. So that's out.. Umm.. Air density shouldn't affect idle speeds. Is the MAP screwed up?? That's a long shot I know but.. This is weird. Could also be the thermostat not working properly.. These would be the first things I'd check

I'd say its fine. If the car is moving, it will also have a higher idle that will drop when stop. The current draw on the headlights, speed and the switches on a/c, and power steering, all effect idle. If when the vehicle stops the idle returns to normal, dont worry.

Ya I figured much. What can I get to low the draw. maybe my battey is going. I one time left the radio on for like 30 mins while I was doinh something and the car just shut off. Turned it off for like 15 mins and it started up. Whats a good battery the size of the stock one?
