MT WTB, ~~your tube chassis car~~
It's inevitable and it's not a new idea for me and our crew. I tried to work a deal with Humble last year, and the guy fell off the earth. I figure nip it now, find a car, and it will save me 2 steps. then I don't have to front half this car. or alter a bunch of stuff in the rear for solid axle and then sheet metal work etc.
Most tube cars are obscure though. Most I've seen are older builds. You never know what's out there though. SOOOooo, gotta ask and look around. Better to start now looking REAL hard.
If I find something, I'd leave this shell as it is and drop in a pump gas motor in the 400-450whp range. Be sane, low on the parts breakage scale, lot's of fun, low maintenance and a solid 10 second car. OR, pop a J37 in it and run it stone stock enjoying 250 foot pounds of torque. YEAH BUDDY!
I've got "J" on the brain right now... it's keeping me awake at night.

Well hope you find one..Be pretty cool to see something like that in state of MT..So what are you gonna do with the red eg if your just gonna turn the white one into a conservative 400-450whp car?
Just can't leave chit alone.
