i just replaced my tranny but now my car wont start.

i had just replaced my automatic tranny but now my car wont start.it started fine right before my buddy had replaced it.we double checked all the sensors and grounds and my battery is still good.i can hear the starter cranking but somehow my engine wont turn over.we put it in neutral but some how its kinda hard to push and we can hear something grinding.does any know what can be the problem??

ok when i jacked up my car transmission fluid started pouring out.after all the work taking out the tranny n slapping it back on i ddnt want to go thru all the trouble agen so i decided to put it in a shop.(all we used were jack stands n one 1ton jack).im hopin its a minor problem.is dis major??

Check to make sure the transmission ground wire is bolted down and has good metal contact (: Should fix your problem.
