Default Need help picking out suspension setup

So after about 2 weeks of searching and researching about 20 different setups, I've decided I would post and ask opinions on a kit that looks like it could deliver what I want.

My car is a 94 del sol vtec eg2 and the ride is harsh. It might have not bothered the previous owner or he just didn't bother with replacing it but it rides so rough. Every bump hurts my back and when I drive onto a section of road where there is a slight drop off it sounds like I just ran over a dog, a really loud bang. Also, when I go over a smaller hump, I can feel the back end wobbleing around a bit. Im a noob at this stuff so I need help.

That is the "kit" that I've picked out (I was getting stressed out trying to find the "best" strut/spring combo so the kit seemed like a good idea). The car will be daily driven, no track/drag time. I wanted a slightly firmer ride, at least where the nose doesnt hop up and down during hard acceleration, but I don't want it to break my back going over a bump. The 1.8in drop would be perfect I believe, im not worried about botteming out. I had a del sol when I first turned 16 and it was dumped and I never scraped anywhere, just have to drive carefully. The roads aren't god awful around here.

So anyway, thats the kit, and I was wanting to spend between 600-800 but im looking at more 800 total from purchasing to full install/alignment.

What about the back end shaking or wobbleing around over a slight hump? Bushings? Wheel bearing or something? I don't think that a worn strut would cause it to wobble back and forth like it does, but I could be wrong.

Opinions please, im just about tired of searching.

Eibach is a great choice.
The shaking, I bet is being cause by blown shocks and crappy springs

But it wouldn't hurt to check you bushings, just to be sure.

Well that would be great if the shaking would be cured with the parts ive picked out. I mean it rides so harsh the springs feel like that are the stock ones with a few rings cut off.

Anyone have experience with this kit or something similar? Or know someone who has?

It might, but check over your bushings, and replace if needed.

I think you should narrow down the problems before you buy. Lift the car up and check all the bolts. See if any bushings are worn.

check the shocks
bounce the car with your body weight and see if it bounces more than once. if so the shocks could be bad. does the car bounce alot on the road.

check tie rods
jack the car up with the wheels on. grab each wheel at 9 o clock and 3. and try to wiggle side to side. If theres play the bearing could be bad, if it happens in front and you hear some noise it could be tie rods.

check bearings
grab the wheel at 12 and 6 and wiggle, if it does it could be bearing.

If all thats good then the Eibach kit would be good. Can you do it yourself. Safe a ton of money. Shocks/springs are easy, just need a breaker bar, ratchet/wrenches, sockets, maybe a 3lb sledge, hex keys for the shock piston rods. You can rent a spring compressor from the auto parts store.
