92 d16z6 in 91 crx si, skunk 2 pro series intake headaches
Working on a 91 crx si with a 92 d16z6 and I just installed a skunk 2 pro series intake manifold. I hadnt realized this before starting this project, but apparently when the swap was done the throttle body, intake manifold, fuel rail, and injectors were all reused. So now that ive found a 92-95 style fuel rail im having issues with the throttle body. The one i was given for this project (as the 91 crx's bolt pattern was off) is off a 92 acura integra 1.8. 1.) First off will this throttle body work? Any unforseen reason it shouldnt?
2.) I noticed on the skunk 2 there is no provision for the evap purge cut solenoid valve. Will the car run ok without this solenoid? Im assuming yes as im sure skunk would have made a provision for it if needed. (I would think)
3.) Can anyone tell me where the coolant hose goes that comes up through a hole on the 91 crx intake? The source is right under the manifold, but im not sure where the (above manifold once through hole) goes.
