I have searched quite a bit, and cannot find any solid answers.
I am doing a JDM OBDII H22A swap into my 1998 Prelude. It is a base model with an auto tranny.
What is required of me to complete the swap. I have the full engine, tranny, harness and ecu.
I was told by my supplier (JDM Source), that all I would need to do is... "the crank sensors wires will go to the distributors are color for color just match them and there will be a green wire left over disregard that."
So he just said the plugs going to the oil pump will need to be spliced into the distributor, and that should be it, and I would need to use the JDM ECU.
I see people all over the forums switching out intake manifolds, injectors, oil pumps, etc...
Will this way stated work, which is the best way? My H22A4 has a blown engine (crack in block & oil starved) so I don't think I can re-use my oil pump.

If it's OBDII you shouldn't have to change any of the wiring; moving the crank sensor to the distributor is if you are going OBDI. People change the injectors during an OBDI conversion because the OBDI ecu is meant to drive peak & hold injectors. Oil pumps are if you are going OBDII and need the crank sensor.
