the chrome is coming off my mugen center caps n i wanna get them redone.its not metal so i dont know if it needs to be dipped or platted. im in so cal so if someone can point me in the right direction thanks!

 

what exact cap is this? some caps are plastic on the bottom and have a metal plate on the top. is it the clearcoat peeling or is it actual plastichrome coming off?

i know of one place called m&m metalizing http://www.mmmetalizing.com/ but fr my past experience w.them they wouldnt touch my part unless it was in good to great shap to begin with so this service would be for a part that wasnt plastichromed before (vacuum sealed)

 

its the mr5 center caps. all plastic n the chrome is flaking off

 

sorry to hear man. had some recently n i was able to polish the top surface but since the chrome is flaking im not sure what u can do.
