dpfi & mpfi ignitors?
are they interchangable? no spark after mpfi (yes wiring is correct) swap. just looking to see if i can swap them....searched and in a tight, need it running today! thanks in advance!
OH REALLY.
I replaced my DPFI ignitor with one from an MPFI dizzy.
Runs fine, no problems.
Just saying 'no' is a terrible reply... you are giving him no information, and you have no backing to your response either.
The ignitor was going out on my 89 DX, and my Si still had a good ignition coil in it. So I swapped them, and like magic... My tach worked properly, ran smoother. Everything is fine now.
