being in the vw/stance community ive noticed the potential to get some uneducated people to appreciate some good builds. lets face it. most of you b!tches on here think that volkswagen enthusiast are stuck up, "im better then you because im euro, i hate anything thats not VAG" ******** who think they have the fastest car around. most people on vortex think that honda enthusiasts are show boating, cheap, street racer boys who think they have the fastest car around. its time to end that bullshit and realize that vw's are just better then hondas. lets face it, we actually make torque LOLz jk anyway, i have a lot of usdm and jdm friends iRL and i thought id educated some of the newer members on the forum i get on the most, jettajunkie. because of the vast technical conversations with my car friends about the egotistical complexes of the tuning community as a whole, i decided to prove some bullshit myths about what jdm and usdm is.

nobody is slamming hondas on our site. we're slamming ricer, which is essentially lack of culture or no culture at all. people on this site have a unified look, standard, etc as to what is socially acceptable and for lack of a better word "cool" because they have a culture. our whole discussion following that post on jetta junkie is about how car enthusiasts are car enthusiasts and people should just ****ing get a long. a good build is a good build. clean is clean. badges are irrelevant. maybe some people need to actually read idk.

 

I appreciate anything done right. Altezzas, huge wings, and just flat out ugliness while driving around like a douche is what I define a ricer... because, well, usually they have altezzas, huge wings and drive like douches. hahaha. I have friends with VW's, Audi's and Nissans, even help them repair/build their stuff, but as for personal preference... I loves me some Honda.

I have friends who have VWs. I don't "hate" people based on what car they drive. However, I wouldn't even touch a newer VW with YOUR d%&k.

Dumb people just need to realize that whatever it is you drive, if you build it right then it will be fast. Anything can be fast. I get dogged by VW, Ford, Nissan and Subaru drivers all the time, yet i careless. If they're faster then me only proves that they invested more money into their build. Some people take racing too personally. Its a sport, if you're fast sooner or later someone will be faster than you. Only thing that annoys me is when someone with a $20,000 car pulls up and thinks they're the **** driving off the lot with over 300Hp trying to pick on some $5000 Honda. LOl Come on right if I dump $15,000 into my motor I wouldnt even waste gas on them.

 

okay. read the whole thread and didn't really learn much. people have their own preferences to cars. this is nothing new.
people will rice out anything. hondas are cheap and plentiful, so naturally you will see more specimens with the H badge. i'm into dubz as well,don't get me wrong. but the engineering behind euro (or over-engineering, i should say) is what really turns me off. to be honest, i have love for all cars that make it to the production line. but to be more descriptive, i have love for intelligent engineering.
i've been up on the euro forums and one thing i can say is that many of the users do seem to have this superiority complex. some. some are more mature and cut past that bullshit. way i've always seen it is that you really are just limiting yourself if your interest only remains in one brand.
it's nice to see people showing an interest in other makes. there's really no reason not to. good on ya for your efforts

one thing that i really do like about euros though is the compatibility of parts between different makes and models.
