Default The Elusive Sunroof Plastic closing mech.

Well my sunroof on my 91 won't close, took it out and put it on the work bench and found out that the drivers side plastic arm lift mechanism thing is broken. What are my options? It looks like you can't order the assembly from majestic anymore which would make me thing they are not in production anymore.

What are my options? Find a sunroof in the junkyard? (Highly unlikely)

Get a aftermarket sunroof plug?

What has everyone been doing that has had this issue?

are you talking about the black plastic things at the end of the rails under the panel? you can replace those but you have to get it from another assembly. theres no way that part is available individually.

if you have the issue where the white plastic thingy is broken and that side of the panel sags.... youre SOL. theres no replacement. its too complicated of a part and is integrated with too many other parts of the assembly to replace.

oh btw im talking about the crx, not hatch sunroof.

Yea I'm talking about the white plastic part that makes the sunroof go up and down. Just found a local guy from my other forum that has one laying under his car port
