Default Soldering larger gauge wiring

I always run into this issue with larger gauge wiring. Sometimes i have a hard time soldering like 10 or 8 gauge wiring. The solder takes like crap. Im pretty sure its because my solderring iron is meant for smaller soldering. 8 gauge is pretty big for that tiny radio shack iron. Is there a bigger iron out there or a better soldering gun available. I do wiring on a professional level but am looking to replace that iron for something better. Suggestions?

use a small butane torch and thicker solder for large wires.

Hmm.... Well I remember one time I had to solder zero gauge, and I had to use the torch to solder it, so I guess I small butane makes sense.
