Default Has anyone converted a 4 rib A/C compressor to use a 5 rib belt?

I looked on a Honda parts site and it shows the same part# for both Si and Si VTEC models for the A/C compressor even though they use a different width belt. I'm wondering if anyone has maybe take their Si compressor and used a clutch kit from the VTEC model to make it so that it'll use a 5 rib belt. Wanting to know because I'm using the VTEC crank pulley which I felt was a better harmonic balancer since it is a different diameter than the Si. I also have the 5 rib pulley for the alternator but I'm using a 4 rib belt. While it all lines up I feel its a bit "ghetto".

So, has anyone done this to their A/C compressor so that the proper belt can be used after swapping?

It will work. You need some AC compressor tools and some understanding of the R and R procedure for the AC clutch. But otherwise it should work just fine.

Oh I know how to do it I was just worried that I would take it all apart and the 5 rib rotor pulley would be too thick to where I couldn't thread the bolt on after installing the clutch. Sucks, I actually had a brand new kit but was worried that it wouldn't work so I returned it after it sat around for a while.
