Default Brake Master cylinder... why different?

hey all

I serviced a friends master cylinder yesterday, but come to replace all the seals with new ones i find that he has a smaller master cylinder then i have on my lude? so the seal kit was incorrect.... :-s

Both our cars are 4th JDM imports with H22A but his is an auto. I have a 1" master and he has a 15/16th master?

why the difference? the brake sizes are then same 282mm up front 262mm on the rear

what about the ABS models.....?

can someone shed some light please

Any model without ABS had a smaller master cylinder. Was his swapped to a H22a from possibly being the S model with the F22 and no ABS?

ABS model has 1inch master. The other ludes have 15/16th...

The 1inch master has a different fitting on one side too.
