I just bought an EG radiator

I just have to figure out to mount it I thought it would be a direct swap over. I don't want to cut or weld anything(it's my girls car she'll freak :nervy: ) So with that being said how do you did you guys mount the radiator.

While driving the car she has to turn the car off to let the fan turn on meaning the radiator fan switch is out. Where is the radiator fan switch located?

 

Do you have B series or D series motor?

Da9 integra radiator is perfect fit with 32mm hoses.

We used this radiator because we have 18c swap.

D series use 28mm hoses, B series use 32mm hoses. EF8 radiator fits with 32mm hoses too but its too hard to find an ef8 radiator. You can't buy them new here, you must buy top tank & bottom tank then get custom core.

If you're going to persist with the EG radiator then you have to mount it on an angle leaning back, pretty impossible without cutting imo.

Fan switch is on the side of the block on the B series. (near the oil filter)
I'm think its same with D series, not sure though.

bought an eg radiator and thought it was a direct fit? lol never opened the hood of either car have you...if you have an obd0 d series the fan switch is on the back of the block, obd1 d and b series its on the thermostat housing. if the fan kicks on when she shuts the car off then the switch is working. and what car is this your working on? sounds like an accord, their cooling fans kick on even after the car is shut off.

 

its never gonna fit perfect unless you cutn weld bro sorry.
it will have to be in ther at an angle. pretty much a eye sore.

 

The fan doesn't work at all, we have to turn the car off the to key 2 postion to get the fan to turn on. the turn the car back on to drive. The fan never turns on after the car is off when we're done driving for the day

 

I thought if your trying to mount an eg radiator into an ef you either have to do what they said and lean it/cut it or get a traction bar that sits lower to have hood clearance for it.

 

whaaa?? does the fan come on when the car gets hot orrr not?
