Are the rear taillight sections on 88-91 civic sedans interchangeable for instance can you put a 91 lx tail light section on a 89 dx?

 

SO no one has the answer to this question and Iam the noob. ANY sedan guys out there 88-91 civic just trying to find out if the whole tail light section from a 91 sedan will fit a 89 civic sedan just want to update the rear end.

 

They fit fine. But I do believe if you do that switch you'll lose your reverse lights as the 88-89 ones have a single bulb brake light/running light and the 90-91's have a dual bulb brake light/running light.
