Did the CrX come with a black interior at all? All I ever see is the blue interior. I don't want to paint my interior. I would rather go with something that is unmolested.

Well it's considered an "off black" I want to say according to Honda. But.....yes they absolutely came with black interiors. If you havent seen one you definately havent been around many CRX's....

 

Thanks much. Was it specific trim levels? All I have ever owned are HF's. 3 of em now. They are the only rex's I've been around so yeah you are right about not being around many.

 

I don't know exactly what trim level came with what color or if it was simply an option. But definately look into SI's every rex i've owned has been an SI and i've never not had black interior

Ya. I too have an HF and just restored all the blue interior in mine but had black and blue parts from an SI in it. The DX & SI have the black color. I just went to pick & pull and got all the stuff I needed. And it was cheap to!

 

the DX parts car I have came with black, sorry it's going in my HF with a b18, I do know a guy who is completely molesting his si with off-black, am going to be acquiring his interior for cheap (minus carpet) sounds like his project is slowing down though, slow work, will try and keep you posted on when I can get the parts its a 91 though, so it has the door mounted seat belts

 

My 1991 HF's interior looks identical to an SI's interior except the door panels don't say "CRX"

 

My 91 DX rocks the back interior with a gray headliner and gray/black doors and the dash has a strip of gray on the black. If you look in my build thread, there is a pic of my black plastics and OE cargo cover.. allll black!
