My first car! 1992 Acura Integra
So to start off I've recently really got interested into EG hatches, and been lurking around these forums, looking at everyone amazing projects. i'm 15 so i don't have a steady income, nor can i drive yet, so i thought to get a project car, Looked around for eg's for like 2 weeks, got dogged twice (didn't show/double booked to sell), But a couple days ago, found this pretty clean 1992 integra with a B16A swap with aprox 90k miles on it, and a uninstalled, turbo (new) for 2k one of my brothers friends who was into Honda said we couldn't go wrong, so we picked it up last night (got home at like 9) from the start we were told that a bearing is going out on the tranny, so we thought no big deal as long as we dont push it in 4th & 5th, got home then it wouldnt catch gear so we had to push it about 20ft into our driveway,(thankgod didnt die on drive home) so my brothers friend who knows about hondas checked it out and said our clutch is done, so once we get that we should be set!! It was dirty aswell, started cleaning about 3, finally ended up done at around 7:30..... well enough story time, here are some pics! and will take some more pics of the clean interior tomorrow

but does anyone have any idea what this switch is? we flip it and see no change , were kind of guessing the foglights, but we have no clue,

The fogs are gonna be by the rear defrost switch. that looks like it might a switch for an alarm. Might be something to look into. GOod score for 2000. SHould be a great first car. theres some great FAQ trheads in the forced induction section if youre looking to do some research on setting up that turbo. If you get a chance, check out http://www.team-integra.net/, thers some great info on there as well.

wow, thats one dam clean DA. hope the build goes well. ur gonna have a lot of time before you start driving to get this where u want it. i cant get over that blue color. is that original paint?

I want to get orange LED's for my Gauge cluster, but i cant seem to find the bulbs i need on that LED site, can anyone point me in the right direction
I also need a new clutch, so how much does that run?

You will love the DA I also got mine at 15. Dude your so lucky getting those 1 pieces and all the turbo stuff for 2k. Search for clutches I suggest a exedy stg 1 for now but if you put the turbo stg 2 will be better and they should be around 300.
You can get the bulbs you need at local auto parts stores in the rice section, thats where I found mine haha. Nice pick up man. Keep us updated on your progress. Time for some new shoes on that thing.. or atleast some honda hub caps haha. I ran steelies and H caps on mine for a year and people thought they were real alloy's off an SI or something. If you're going to be looking into a new tranny, look into synchro-tech. They are phenomenal.
oh yeah, and as for that switch.. trace the wires? where do they go? I don't think it'd be a valet switch as those are usually behind the mirror or by the hood pop..
