Default Bubble Wheel Balancers? Do they work?

Found one @ the local Harbor Frieght for cheap and was wondering if anybody else on here uses them? Do they work? And how do they compare to the electronic ones? Any type of information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

http://www.bubblebalancer.com

I don't understand why anyone would bother, unless you have a shop. Most of the time, you only need to balance tires when you're mounting/dismounting them, and you'd have to go through an awful lot of tires to justify the cost to buy mounting/dismounting and balancing machines.

My car was shaking and most of my family member's cars has experienced this as well. I figured it was just worth the investment. So does anybody have any experience with them?? Thanks!!

You have to look at the ROI in such a purchase. If you plan on M&B tires and wheels for the neighborhood for a fee, go for it. Otherwise, how many times are you going to use it, realistically? If you have the room, great, because you're going to need it.

Think about this - this means that if you use your single bump on your topic after an hour, when it's still at or near the top of the forum topic list anyway, it will be wasted when it doesn't accomplish anything for you.
