Just wondering what you other CRex's are doing in the 1/4 mile time with just the motor swap and nothing else! Right now, my best time is a 14.4 @94mph. Vtec set @ 5400rpm.

Ok... i also forgot to mention I have a Tanabe full catback exhaust, Apexi Vtec Air Fuel Controller. and a cold air intake.

I will get a scanner and scan my time slip as soon as possible. Thanks for the replies!

my crx is stock sep for intake and xhust i run 14.28 o and it is the ew3 motor from 86

 

post a pic of your time slip that shows 14.4 in the quarter.

I would like to see this.

 

How do you have nothing else if you can 'set' when vtec engages?

 

dag yo, 14.4? my best time was a 15.1 and my motor was idling at 4k rpm due to a clogged IACV. could you post the time slip? i'd like to see this as well.

 

i ran 15.2 with 2.55 60' on a cold damp morning with crappy tires at sacramento raceway.....with better tires and better track conditions i think i coulda ran a 14.5- 14.7

 

I went to Carlsbad raceway here in SoCal and i ran a 14.5@94 mph. Myn is the lightest rex and back gutted, so i dont know how the hell you ran a 14.4 stock! Im not trying to flame though If its true props to u I just cant wait to break into the 13's with my cams and shift at 8500!!

i know a guy named christian that lives in gainsville i met him through a friend he ran a 13.8 in the 1/4 with a 88 crx hf the only thing done was a set of slicks no interior just dash seats and door pannels and i have seen the time slip my other friend now owns the car and he ran a 14.2 before he blew it up i will try to get a time slip for the haters too

Stock B16a on 16" wheels I went 15.6@90 with a GReddy Exhaust and a test pipe. That's it.

 

Thats nice. Speaking of gutting, i have nothing to do. Im gonna go right now and take out anything i can from my car (gut more of the back, doors and carpet) see you guys in a few hours

Raene runs consistent 14.6's at 96 with an intake, FPR, stock exhaust, stripped interior, one seat and ghey tires. Otherwise bone stock.

 

13.98 w/i/h/e and some shitty slicks mounted on stock rims

 

15.4 here.....with winter tires and stock exhaust, the track conditions where very good though and I ran the tires at 20 PSI

 

13.98 @99.41 mph in 91 EX Sedan with Portflow head, ITR cams and intake, DC Header w/ slicks

 

14.8@94 in my 91 dx 4dr
