Seriously, I was like WTF? Isn't bumping dead threads without an update grounds for bannage?

I think its cause the search function might allow them to search threads from years back and then the common man cant figure out that the conversation being had was between two members listening to mmm bop.

Seriously, let's bump DIY threads that had all the pictures removed. The nerve of this guy, it looks like he's just trying to advertise his name and business. Funny how his "Im the new RocketMotorsports owner" thread blew up in his face.

Maybe there should have been an archive thread made instead. This way its one thread with links to the old stuff.

This way i can find the "WuT Iz My b18 GunNa RuN At dA TrAck wiT Diz NeW BloX HedduR?" threads alot easier.

I love the new Honda-Tech

Actually - They are good informational threads, if you dont like it .. dont read it.. there's been alot of questions lately that can simple be answered by searching...most are so lazy to search i just decided to bump what i've seen asked alot about and bump it.

because the ''search'' function is an epic fail most of the time so when you find a useful thread it's cool to keep it alive

No thread blew up in my face - infact, i and four other people were given the information to supply others with cams and what not..
After spending a few hours talking to rocket when he first came to this conclusion, i was under the impression he was just giving it all up.. he changed his mind a couple days later and wanted it to be worded differently.

I wanted to keep the rocket name alive and clearly thats what i was trying to do..however he wanted nothing to do with anything of the honda world.
I didn't want people taking credit for his r/d and testing that he's done.

Any other hating on me is more then welcomed..considering all i ever do is try to help people.. i mean that makes me such a bad person..

Like how you told someone that cams dropped your compression to 13:1, lol!

The pro2's bleed off compression..
s2s2's aren't as big as the pro2's..

Do the math - 12.8 CR rollerwaves with a GSR head stock - my head is milled .050'' with a 3layer hg, and skunk2's new high compression valves puts me right around 13.4's or 13.3 with the pro2's i should be around 13:1 13:0 give or take..

No problem with you man. There is a clear pattern to what you bumped and just because you think it is good info doesn't mean that everyone else does.

If you go to the main page, down at the bottom, it says that there are 419,599 members of this site. The topics that people want to read will remain at the top on their own without the influence of one person trying to bump posts that their buddies made. One or two posts I understand but half that crap you bumped is worth its weight in fecal matter.

Didn't mean to offend you...you have just as much right to be here saying your thing as me and any other person on here. Just remember you aren't the only one here.

Like I told you previously, you have dynamic and static compression ratio mixed up. Camshafts change dynamic compression ratio but not static compression ratio and you do not have a dynamic compression ratio anywhere near 13:1. That 12.8:1 spec for the pistons is for static compression ratio!

If you want to give me the basic specs of your engine (bore, stroke, rod length, IVC, chamber cc's, etc), I'd be more than happy to calculate both compression ratios for you if you like...

85x89 - RL(5.394") chambercc(41.60)(gsr head) remember, .050'' removed from the head, using a GE 3layer 85mm HG.
piston cc is 7.75
Comp. Height 1.180"

I've done it like 10 times.. you'll come out to around 13.0 or 13.1

I went with a bigger cam to make the compression more "pump gas" friendly, i understanding changing the DCR and SCR.
Dynamic compression really refers to the amount of trapped air/fuel in the cylinder when the INT valves close, from what i thought dynamic compression is just static compression corrected for IVC.

Kindof like boosting alot, a boosted engines SCR will be significally higher then a n/a's motor.

so changing my cams will in turn change how the top of my pistons beat the **** out of the bottom of my head? I think im confused as to how compression works hehehe.

Did you actually measure this? If you didn't I can assure you it's probably more/larger which reduces your compression ratio.
