Default honda delsol with 99 gsr motor draining battery

hey guys my delsol died on me today by drianing my battery im not sure y. ive change my battery and car starts fine and try to c if the alternator was bad by taking battery out and car still ran so im sure its not the battery i also checked the fuse seems to b ok but any suggestions

First, don't remove the battery cables with the engine running because you may damage sensitive electrical components.

Either have the alternator tested by an auto parts store or measure voltage across the battery posts with the engine off, idling, and idling with a high electrical load (high beams, A/C max, and rear window defroster on).
