So my girlfriend has an 01 accord coupe the day before her tranny went out i drove it i noticed when id put it in drive the car would rev up to 3 4 rpms and then kick in and go her dad panicked and took it to get a rebuilt tranny she got it back a week later and the problem still exist any ideas? she has a year warranty on it so im thinking of taking it back but im confused?

Many 6th gen Accord auto transmissions were problematic.

 

Bingo, take it back and get them to fix it right or put a Honda Reman in
