Do you have a manual or auto?

If its an auto one of the solenoids could be clogged and getting stuck and not releasing the plate.

The SH model didn't come in sissy-stick form.

Is it a vibration or hesitation? I have a 97 SH also and it tends to hang up around that range too.

Hmm, I haven't been able to identify mine to particular weather scenario's like that, but the symptoms sound the same. I've got a hunch it is either something in the stock ECU tune (likely) or possibly something in the evap routing for some reason. Unfortunately Honda changed some of the evap stuff in '98, so we can't just swap in a newer ECU like I would want to try.

perhaps the rubber gasket for the dizzy is bad and you're getting condensation in the cap...
