do i fill up my trannie with sychromesh or do i do a half and half?

get 3 if you want to do it right. some people say you can get away with 2 and thats probably true but the actual capacity is 2.3-2.7 quarts. I just spend the extra $15.00 so I know its full and not in need of some. the last time I changed my fluid i used the gm synchromesh and it took about 2.5 quarts before it was full. That was 2 weeks ago. shifts like butter now.

 

to my understanding, if you have to use synchromesh, your tranny is about dead. http://shop.synchrotech-transmissions.com/ . I got my transmission from them, and its the effin sh9t my friend. i can bang it thru gears like you wouldnt believe and for a extra 100 bucks i got carbon synchros and replaced ALL bearings, not just inspected and replaced as needed. im not even boosted and i hung with an infinity q45 with my set up.
