Need to know location on ecu for cam or crank sensor
Im installing a zrtronix datalogger unit. Im getting a shitty signal off the tach line. Thats what the zetronix people say anyway. I have 2 other tachs running off that line and they are fine. They told me to tap into my cam or crank signal wire to reduce noise. I actually dont know what wire that is. I know its dizzy related but not which wire.
So Im looking at the actual Crankshaft postioning sensor. Seems like the only sensor that might display this.
Now I find this odd, but the people at Zeitronix says that it will work. I have never heard of this before.
Can anyone actual confirm or denie this?
Id like to get this sorted out. I think its hardware issues, not connection.

Does anyone know where I can get a Variable Resistance Potentiometer 50-100k Ohms Liner Pot From?
I called radio shack and they don't carry it.

You can probably find one online, like at mpja.com or similar. If you can find a 0-50k, you can just add a 50k resistor to it. Good luck.
