does anyone know if a GM gas cap would fit on a honda.

i found a yellow ethanal gas cap from GM. if it fits i would like to use it since it runs on e85..would be cool

 

the spring in the cap to relieve pressure may be different

i forgot that the cap is tied to the car with a little plastic strap. so i couldn't straight put it in. but i visually compared the two and tried putting the honda cap into the gm.

but assuming(i have no idea between years and models) all caps from both companies are the same it wouldn't work. the GM is a twist lock cap and Honda's are a screw type. my honda cap also is larger then the GM's hole is.

but i mean 6 bucks if you don't mind it you can always see if it works. no aftermarket honda gas cap for e85?

guess you could always just paint your current one yellow and get some stencil of e85. if you ever get the urge.
