Icon2 terminal replacement???????

the postive end connector for my battery is about to snap off...I may have tightened it too much previously...I'm thinking to replace both terminal connectors with gold plated ones. my concern is the amount of slack on the positive end there aint much is this safe and how should i do it???

Why not replace the whole wire? I'm not sure how difficult it would be but the starter is very close to the battery....

There should be enough slack in the OEM cable to install the battery terminals and still be able to reach the battery posts. Just disconnect the battery, install the new terminals, reconnect the battery.

cool thanks...my fear of replacing the whole wire is that the positive branches out and looks like it has further purposes than the negative(i have to look further) and its really only the terminal that is bad on the positive nothing else.
