It's a B20 powered DA.
What info are you looking for? I know her and Ron (her crew chief) post on the Honda Challenge section of the NASA forums.

sure looks like on 16.30 the blue just took out the white and therefor breaking the axle and taking the crx completely out of the race. I'm very sure that if that would have not happened the white crx would have taken first place. I still don't know how you can find 30 hp. in the same engine under the same rules. Maybe they were looking in the wrong place. From 9th to the front in one straight that is a really good engine.

If the video isnt working and you are only getting sound, just click on nasa and click on HC coverage.

Meris at 12:26.

It's not the engine, it's the driver, if you were at ANY of the NorCal races that Meris has run you would know that he has awesome standing starts.

The engine made ~170whp, the same amount that the white integra made in 2009 and in 2010, they were the only team that rented dyno time and tuned for the conditions. Meris has ~15 years of making good numbers in B series engines. The engine in Liam Downey's car made 150whp at the track, an old, worn down motor. So if the other engines made "30whp less", they were at 140whp at the track, which was less than the DA B20 was making.

Ok cool... thanks prkiller.

I have a DA chasis and dont see them that much except Edo's. Want to see what set up i can possibly go with. Of course every drivers likes are a little different but trying to educate myself on what works with my budget.

I was watching this a few days ago and I literally had to mute it... the one announcer was mispronouncing names, chassis models, and was pausing in between words as if he couldnt think of what to say. I know sometimes it is hard to be on camera(or behind the camera on the mic), but I think the video would have been way better off without said announcer.

Yea I dont know where they got that guy, maybe they had a "win the announcer" contest before they started the race.
The Nasa Official would of been a better choice, even though he might of been better suited as a golf commentator, at least he got the names right.
None the less the color commentary was more monochromatic than anything else.

oh here we go.. another jeremy leg humper. 9th to 3rd on the 1st lap was not all due to engine. He passed 4 cars under braking into T1.

Look back right before they made contact exiting the corner. You can see jeremy dive down the inside, ride the berm too much and hit the right side of Meris. There was also a bumper in the middle of the track which Meris tried to avoid.

Not saying it's either ones fault, but JC choose to put himself in that position. He, just like Meris could have given more racing room and gone side by side thru T3 and T4.

If you were there on Tues before the event and heard what the driver of the CRX was asking me, it might change your statement.

If you were there on Fri for the qualifying race and saw me and the CRX go head to head, on the front row, right off the start, it might change your statement.

If you heard what the driver of the CRX said after Fri qual. race, it might change your statement.

Hahahahaha I love it!!! Where do people get these hp numbers from??? NO ONE really knows what I dyno'd at the track. I never told anyone. NO ONE was allowed by the dyno when tech sent me there. NO ONE but the race director has my dyno sheet. So where would my 30+ hp dyno numbers come from?

That my friend, is the difference between you and me. I know how to LEGALLY build and tune these engines, while you sit there and ponder the fact. If you like, for a 4-digit dollar figure, I'll build you a legal H2 engine so people like yourself can scratch their heads and wonder how you were able to squeeze so much hp out of your ride.

Where else would hp be made? ahhhh, but wait...maybe it wasn't ALL engine. What other possible variables can contribute to a car being faster than the next car in road racing???

It took the tech staff almost 10hrs to look EVERYWHERE in and around my engine at tech after the race, and it was deemed legal. To tell you the truth, my right foot is 2lbs. heavier than my left foot.

I started in 8th, by turn 1, I was in 3rd. It wasn't all engine, albeit a GREAT engine, but yet NOT the most powerful H2 B16 there that weekend. 3-4 cars were passed at the entrance of turn 1.
Import drag racing from 1993-1997 and cutting 1.8sec 60ft. times really helps on standing starts in this series. But there's a lot of other factors involved. It's funny how people just don't see it when it's RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEIR FACE.
Come race at a nor cal race so you can see it first hand and maybe you'll have a better understanding of how I conduct a standing start.

Then you have me...I figured that Vic would start motoring down the straight when we hit 3rd gear, instead I bump-drafted him down the front straight and I was passed by Eric Olsen on the inside, I made the wrong assumption and with that I lost a couple of positions.

my dad (Liam #18) went from 1st to 4th instead of 2nd.. thats what blew his start.

Errr aaaa there was a thread that disappeared just after nats was over.
Those who saw it and posted removed their posts. Including me.
Lets not start that portion up again.
That was discussed in the HC thread and should stay there.
Lets move on ,and get back to what's left of this year
There should be no accusations for this or that.
Some people start better than others, then theres the better drivers..

I enjoyed watching the race, even with the bad commentary and mispronounced names.

Leg humping..... that is very funny.
Lets get back to the monochromatic commentary.

Meris, you dont have to answer to anyone on HT. Not to mention a lot of the people questioning it arent even involved in HC.

Congrats on the win.
