I use integra cables for my rear disc conversion.
So you're looking to spend 2500-3000 total? Do you already have the h2b kit and transmission and all that other stuff? Because if you don't you will spend atleast half of that going h2b. With the other half You won't be able to do much to reach your 260whp goal.

my bad 2500-3000 just for the motor

You could potentially roll mahle gold 11.5:1 pistons, send the head off for a port job and throw in skunk 2 pro series valve springs/retainers and pro 2 cams. will probably go a little over your budget. But this will probably be the best bet with that amount of money.

What crank/rod combo r u planning on going with? Decided on cams yet?
If this is a daily driver, some skunk 2 pro 2 cams will get you close to the hp goal. Next Is Intake manifold and header... I miiiiiight have a header for sale but it would probably annihilate your budet so you would have to lookout for a cheaper swap header...

Depends, what year is your block. I get mixed info on the subject but I believe your block is a 55mm main bearing block so an h23 crank wouldnt work. Look into a 97mm f23 crank and some aftermarket rods would do the trick. i prefer Carillo but there are many others out there, such as eagle like stated earlier.
2500-3k is kinda on the low side for any build but maybe you can pull it off...

i'm buliding over a long period of time so i can bump the limit to around 4k
Just a suggestion, use OEM bearings just because you can have exact clearances. Its a preference of mine, but not 100% necessary.

I know Danny built a budget monster h2b a while ago. It made around 260 whp and ran a best of 11.4 I think. Here's the link but pics can't be seen.

To retract from my previous post........
I would stay with OEM crank and Eagle H beam rods with the ARP Rod bolts, which is a very dependable combo. As for pistons, you can go with the type S or if using aftermarket, you can't go wrong with Mahle.
